Swap out the navy for avocado green in this plaid blazer, and you pretty much have my middle school uniform. No lie…
At the time, I was attending an all-girls Catholic school in Mexico. Guadalajara, Jalisco to be specific.
My cousin (a nun) happened to be the Director of the school while I attended. She was so sweet and oh so perfect for that role if I do say so myself. My classmates all agreed.
You may be asking your self, your cousin was the Director of the school?
To help put things into perspective, my mother was the youngest of ten siblings. Eight males and two females. My aunt was 10 years her senior, and my mother didn’t have me until she was 42.
But back to the blazer at hand. Middle school as awkward as it may be or may have been for most, was one of the happiest times of my life. So it should come as no surprise, that as soon as I saw this blazer I knew I had to have it. It brought back so many fond memories.
One of my favorites ways to dress up a pair of sorts is to throw on a chic blazer, and what better pattern than this classic navy plaid?
I intend to ware this blazer with as many pieces as I own. But I have to say this combo is one of my favorites for summer.
Does this pattern bring back memories for you? I’d love to know!
Thanks so much for reading!! x-j
