Strapless Palazzo Jumpsuit

Right after the holidays when all the sales were taking place. I happened to be browsing on Nordstrom’s site when I came across this gorgeous strapless palazzo jumpsuit. I immediately fell in love with it.

I wonder if I fell in love with this jumpsuit for nostalgic reasons?

You know, the more I think about it… I am pretty sure that is exactly why I fell in love with it.

Banana Republic Navy Blue Outfit

I picked up this lace and scallop trim top during the holidays and couldn’t wait to wear it. It’s so feminine and flattering, plus no-iron? Yes, please!

Its the perfect transitional top to ease into Spring with. You can totally dress it up or down. You can wear it with ankle length pants and some statement heels. Pair it with cute distressed denim shorts and a pretty headband for a flower child vibe. Or my winter-spring go-to, skinny jeans and some contrasting color boots like these or these.

I also love that it’s long sleeved because it’s always cold in our office and somehow if my arms and toes are covered when the weather is not that great I’m good. Are you the same way?

The Bacchanalian Cocktail

Happy Friday! Please do not let the title of today’s Friday Sips scare you away. Its bark is way stronger than it’s bite. Although the title of today’s sip sounds like something you want no part of. Trust me, it’s actually quite a refreshing drink, almost sangria like if you will.

I happened to come across this recipe as I was trying to find a Mardi Gras inspired cocktail to share with you. I totally had the intention of making something like a hurricane or a sazerac. But I thought those are so… been there done that.
